Indian Miracle Group Boosts Packaging Capacity With Koenig & Bauer Rapida 105

The Indian Miracle Group strengthened its production platform by installing a new Koenig & Bauer Rapida 105, commissioned in December 2025 to meet growing demand for premium packaging across the Indian market. Founded in 2009 by brothers Hemendra, Lokesh and Amit Agarwal, the group now employs more than 3,500 people across eight locations and continues to expand its role as a major packaging supplier to leading brand owners.

Configured with seven inking units and a coating tower, the Rapida 105 has been tailored to address growing market pressure for faster turnaround times and high-end finishing quality. Lokesh Agarwal, Managing Director of the Miracle Group, said the investment reflects a long-term view of competitiveness. “Sustained leadership in packaging comes from investing in the right technology, building robust infrastructure, and empowering our teams. This upgrade allows us to serve customers with greater speed, precision, and confidence,” he said.

The press features an enlarged sheet format of 750 × 1,060 mm and a raised press foundation, enabling stable handling of heavy board substrates at high production speeds. Automation plays a central role, with the fully automatic plate changer converting setup time into productive output. According to Amit Agarwal, Managing Director, the system is already delivering more consistent production with fewer deviations. He noted that the combination of UV capability and inline finishing enhances durability and visual impact, key factors at the point of sale.

The installation delivers an estimated 45 percent increase in printing capacity, supporting faster deliveries and improved consistency for high-volume packaging programs. Koenig & Bauer’s involvement extends beyond equipment supply to include application support, technical expertise, and long-term performance optimisation. The Miracle Group said the partnership is structured around measurable operational gains and sustainable growth, positioning advanced automation as a core driver of future competitiveness in India’s evolving packaging market.
