Kavalan, the PVC-free wide-format materials brand under TAYA Groups, has entered a new distribution partnership with WKECH Printer Trader, marking its official entry into the Philippine market through a sustainability-focused local supplier. Founded in June 2025 by Warren Palomer, WKECH was born from a direct introduction to Kavalan’s portfolio at an industry event the previous year, a meeting that ultimately inspired the launch of a company dedicated to greener large-format print solutions.
The agreement brings Kavalan’s full PVC-free range to the region, including products such as Sunlight, Moonlight, Butterfly, Spiderweb, and Gecko, all designed for applications spanning banners, lightboxes, textiles, mesh, wall coverings, and floor graphics. Compatible with UV, Latex, and UVgel technologies, the materials are positioned as direct alternatives to traditional PVC-based media while maintaining performance characteristics such as tear resistance, flame retardancy, and weldability. As Warren Palomer put it, “Kavalan and WKECH Printer Trader share the same vision and mission - to be the company of choice for long-term partnership in sustainability and innovation.” The partnership underscores a broader shift in market sentiment in the Philippines, where sustainability is increasingly moving from concept to commercial reality.
