Trykteam Commissions Komori GL-1040P Advance in Landmark Installation

Trykteam marked a significant milestone with the official commissioning of its new Komori GL-1040P advance, celebrating the installation with a formal handover ceremony at its Danish production site. The event brought together employees, management, and industry partners to recognize the investment as a step change in the company’s production capabilities.

The GL-1040P advance is widely recognized for its precision, automation, and ability to handle complex print jobs at high quality and efficiency. During the ceremony, attendees were introduced to the technical features of the press, including advanced automation systems designed to reduce setup time, improve consistency, and support demanding commercial applications. Trykteam said these capabilities will help reinforce its competitive position in the Nordic print market.

Kenneth Nielsen, owner of Custmo, the official Komori distributor in Denmark, attended the commissioning and highlighted the broader industry significance of the installation. He described the project as a milestone for both Trykteam and Danish commercial printing, noting that the GL-1040P advance positions the company at the forefront of quality-driven, technology-led production.

Representatives from Komori were also present to support the launch and provide technical insight into the press and its capabilities. With commissioning complete, the press is now fully operational and ready for production.

Trykteam said the new installation supports its ability to meet growing customer demand while maintaining high standards for quality and environmental performance. The investment reflects a broader trend among Nordic printers toward highly automated, efficient offset technology that delivers both productivity gains and consistent, premium output.
