Kornit Digital announced the acquisition of PrintFactory, a Netherlands-based provider of cloud-native workflow, color management, and production automation software. The move is designed to accelerate the transition from analog to digital production in the global fashion and textile industry by integrating PrintFactory’s capabilities into Kornit’s broader platform. The acquisition builds on Kornit’s strategy of creating a connected infrastructure that links demand generation, production workflow, and fulfillment into a single digital ecosystem.
PrintFactory’s technology addresses key challenges in the transition to digital manufacturing, including managing complex workflows, coordinating multiple production technologies, and maintaining consistent output across different production environments. Its platform is already deployed across thousands of sites worldwide, supporting more than 3,500 device models and over 10,000 users. By embedding these capabilities into its offering, Kornit aims to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enable more predictable, scalable production for global brands and large-scale manufacturing networks.
The acquisition also strengthens Kornit’s end-to-end platform approach, combining KornitX for demand and order orchestration with PrintFactory’s workflow infrastructure and Kornit’s own printing technologies. “This acquisition is about more than workflow or color management,” said CEO Ronen Samuel, emphasizing the goal of building a unified digital value chain. Expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, the transaction reflects the broader industry shift toward connected, data-driven production environments in fashion and textile printing.
