Kornit Digital has officially entered the footwear market with the commercial release of its end-to-end digital decoration solution for sports and athleisure shoes. Unveiled at ITMA Asia + CITME Singapore 2025, this milestone follows two years of development and successful deployments in China, Vietnam, and Germany. The company has already powered over one million pairs of shoes sold globally using its patented technology—proof that digital footwear production is now a scalable commercial reality. As CEO Ronen Samuel noted, “What started as a concept is now being adopted at scale, with leading global brands.”
The technology enables vibrant, durable prints on technical fabrics with zero water use and minimal energy, offering brands a sustainable, agile alternative to analog production. With a market of over one billion shoe uppers annually, Kornit is tapping into a massive opportunity driven by consumer demand for personalization and speed. Samuel added, “We have developed a fully digital solution that redefines how shoes are designed, produced, and delivered.”
