Kornit Unveils Atlas MATRIX to Enable True On-Demand Apparel Production Across All Fabrics

Kornit Digital introduced the Atlas MATRIX, a new digital production system designed to redefine apparel manufacturing in the on-demand era. Unveiled at Konnections 2026, the platform is designed to provide complete flexibility across cotton, polyester, and blended fabrics without compromising quality or efficiency. The launch reflects Kornit’s broader strategy to position digital production as the standard for modern apparel manufacturing, particularly as demand shifts toward shorter runs and faster turnaround times.

At the core of the system is Kornit’s Karbon Shield technology, which addresses one of the industry’s most persistent challenges: dye migration on polyester fabrics. The solution enables consistent, high-quality output in a single-step process while maintaining durability and a soft hand feel. Atlas MATRIX also supports both direct printing and transfer workflows, allowing producers to achieve consistent results across different decoration methods while expanding design flexibility and application possibilities.

The system is designed to help producers consolidate operations and address a significant portion of the global screen-printing market, particularly short- and mid-run jobs where agility is critical. With the ability to handle multiple fabric types in a single platform, Atlas MATRIX opens new opportunities in segments such as sportswear and athleisure. “Atlas MATRIX removes these limitations entirely and firmly positions digital as the new standard for apparel production,” said CEO Ronen Samuel, as Kornit continues to push toward fully integrated, demand-driven manufacturing models.
