Fujifilm’s AQUAFUZE Wins RadTech Europe Innovation Award 2025

Fujifilm has been awarded the prestigious RadTech Europe Innovation Award 2025 for its breakthrough AQUAFUZE technology. Unveiled at the RadTech Europe Conference & Exhibition in Warsaw, AQUAFUZE stands out for merging the benefits of water-based and UV-curable inkjet systems into a single UV-curable emulsion. This chemistry innovation delivers high image quality, strong substrate adhesion, and low-temperature LED UV curing—all while eliminating the need for primers and producing low-odour, non-hazardous prints.

A result of a decade of R&D, AQUAFUZE enhances sustainability without compromising performance or stability. “By rethinking ink formulation from the ground up, we’ve created a product that responds directly to what print service providers have been asking for,” said Shota Suzuki, lead developer of AQUAFUZE. “It offers durability, flexibility, sustainability and safety without compromise.” This recognition reinforces Fujifilm’s commitment to driving innovation in sustainable wide format inkjet technology.
