Lithec, a global leader in inline color control and inspection systems, will introduce its latest innovation—the AI-powered LithoScan Console—at PRINTING United Expo 2025 in Orlando, Florida. From October 22–24, visitors to Booth 3127 can see firsthand how the new system enhances defect detection and inspection with a suite of advanced tools. Unlike conventional scanners, LithoScan projects detected errors directly onto printed sheets with a laser, giving operators immediate visual confirmation. The system also features touchless scanning for wet sheets and spectral measurement technology to precisely evaluate spot colors.
Alongside the new LithoScan Console, Lithec will spotlight its flagship LithoFlash Inline solution, which automates real-time color measurement and adjustment during sheetfed offset production. Compatible with new presses and retrofit-ready for Heidelberg, RMGT, Komori, KBA, Manroland, and Mitsubishi, LithoFlash eliminates manual checks, accelerates make-ready, and reduces substrate waste. Lithec also offers offline inspection systems capable of monitoring up to four presses simultaneously, providing versatility for commercial printers, converters, and packaging specialists.
Ahead of the Expo, Lithec will co-host a pre-show Open House with RMGT on October 21 at Digital Printing Solutions in Winter Park, Florida. The event will feature a live demonstration of LithoFlash Inline on an RMGT 970 perfecting press and a technical roundtable discussion. “With more than 400 LithoFlash installations worldwide, adoption continues to expand rapidly among leading packaging printers,” said Clyde Tillman, President of Lithec USA. “We’re excited to show printers in Orlando how our solutions are setting new benchmarks for quality and efficiency in pressrooms.”
