Markzware announced the release of OmniMarkz SE v4.2 for Windows, introducing support for Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files in response to customer demand and the platform’s upcoming end of life in October 2026. The update is designed to help organizations maintain access to legacy Publisher content while transitioning to more modern and flexible production environments. By enabling file conversion and reuse, the release addresses a growing need among enterprises, printers, and institutions managing large volumes of archived design assets.

The new version features a drag-and-drop workflow that allows users to import .pub files and convert them into IDML format for editing in applications such as Adobe InDesign, Affinity, and QuarkXPress.
