Messagepoint announced the acquisition of Sefas, a provider of customer communications management (CCM) and enterprise communications processing (ECP) software, to strengthen its AI-driven platform for managing regulated communications across print and digital channels. The deal expands Messagepoint’s ability to help organizations move from fragmented document production toward fully orchestrated communication journeys with greater visibility and control.
The acquisition builds on an OEM partnership between the two companies established in 2021. Messagepoint currently integrates Sefas technologies, such as Sefas Designer and Sefas Producer, into its platform to support high-volume, compliant communications. Following the acquisition, Messagepoint plans to further expand its integration while introducing additional capabilities, including Conductor, an omnichannel orchestration layer, and Electronic Delivery Gateway, which helps manage digital delivery services.
Steve Biancaniello, Founder and CEO of Messagepoint, said the combined platform will help enterprises deliver faster and more personalized customer communications. “Sefas solutions perform at enterprise scale and enable Messagepoint to further enhance our ability to help customers deliver timely, personalized, compliant experiences across all channels,” he said. Sefas CEO Jean-Philippe Khristy added that the combination will accelerate innovation in designing, producing, and managing modern omnichannel communications for regulated industries.
