Mimaki Europe has expanded its 330 Series with the launch of the UJ330H-160, a hybrid UV inkjet printer engineered to deliver both roll-to-roll and rigid printing capabilities within a single platform. Designed for sign makers and print service providers operating in space-conscious, investment-sensitive environments, the system enables seamless switching between flexible and rigid substrates. “With the UJ330H-160, we provide a hybrid UV printing solution that enables customers to do more with one system, without sacrificing performance,” said Arjen Evertse, Director Sales at Mimaki Europe. The printer features a newly developed conveyor belt transport system for stable roll feeding, alongside vacuum functionality and lock rollers for handling rigid media up to 50.8 mm thick, including aluminium composite panels and foam boards.
Powered by Mimaki’s 330 print engine, the UJ330H-160 delivers high-definition output with dense white ink, clear ink for textured and gloss effects, and practical production speeds of up to 22 m² per hour in 2x CMYK configuration. UV-LED curing eliminates warm-up time and expands compatibility to heat-sensitive materials, while automation tools, RasterLink7 RIP software, and PICT cloud monitoring enhance workflow control and ease of use. The system also supports Mimaki’s SVHC- and CMR-free ELS-170 UV inks, aligning with European regulatory and sustainability demands. Available from April 2026 and to be showcased at FESPA Global Print Expo 2026, the UJ330H-160 signals Mimaki’s continued push toward versatile, future-ready UV solutions at a competitive price point.
