Soar Communications Group Ltd (SCG) based in Auckland, NZ, processes more than 150 jobs daily using HP SiteFlow to batch process jobs effortlessly, automating everything from file uploads to press preparation. Their new workflow automations has allowed them to ensure faster turnaround times, reduced staffing costs, and minimized wastage, aligning with SCG's sustainability goals. HP SiteFlow allows SCG to consider additional print-on-demand solutions and third-party online print jobs, opening doors to new business opportunities and revenue streams.
"Automation has been a game-changer for our business," said Fred Soar, Managing Director of SCG. "HP SiteFlow removes the repetitive and time-consuming tasks from prepress, empowering our team to focus on more value-driven activities. Having no prepress time means each job can go straight to print. This shift is fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency within the company."
In December 2024 alone, 38% of SCG's digital orders were automated through SiteFlow, underscoring its ability to deliver at scale during peak periods. The integration of HP's PrintOS further enhances SCG's capabilities, simplifying workflows and ensuring accurate, efficient job processing. Joan Perez Pericot, VP and Global Head of HP Industrial Print Software & Solutions commented, "SCG's adoption of HP SiteFlow showcases the transformative potential of automation software in the print industry. By leveraging our technology, SCG is achieving greater efficiency, sustainability, and market competitiveness, setting a benchmark for digital print service providers in the region."
