Cleary spotlights the new printers, beginning with the TrueVis XP-640, which a 1.6m wide eco-solvent machine. Cleary quotes Andrew Oransky, managing executive officer for sales and marketing and CEO of Roland DG America, who stated: “This is a flagship product and we are very excited about it. It fits a place in the market and addresses some customer needs that we have not been able to reach.” Those needs appear to be primarily faster printing speeds. Also announced is the new DtF printer, the TY-300, first announced in Japan last September. This is a 762mm wide printer, which is slightly bigger than the standard DtF size.
