OneVision 26.1 Brings AI Deeper into Print Workflow Automation

With version 26.1, OneVision is clearly leaning harder into AI as a core part of print workflow automation rather than a feature add-on. The headline development is AImposition, an intelligent automatic imposition solution that introduces a visual wizard-based approach to template creation. By guiding users step by step, the software lowers the technical barrier traditionally associated with imposition, making it possible for operators without deep prepress expertise to build production-ready layouts. Once created, these templates feed directly into OneVision workflows, supporting automated imposition for both digital and offset environments.

Beyond imposition, the release expands automation across multiple production areas. New dashboards centralize job and workstation data in time-series visualizations, while enhanced connectivity now includes direct control of Matic Helios servers and cutters. The AI story continues in image processing, where the new Amendo AI Upscale module offers 200% and 400% scaling, alongside retouching enhancements such as automated facial shine reduction. Add in stronger wide-format nesting, VDP reliability improvements, and expanded label printing flexibility, and version 26.1 becomes a broader signal of where workflow software is heading: smarter, more connected, and increasingly driven by AI-assisted decision-making.
