Swedish trade paper Branschkoll reports that Original Tryckeri, based in Umeå, took on a new majority owner with a stated strategy of growth through acquisitions. Now HS Copy in Luleå will become part of the group as of March 25, 2025. Together, they have a turnover of nearly SEK 50 million according to the latest available financial statements.
"The companies in the group strengthen each other's offering very well. HS Copy with complete sign production and digital printing and Original with offset printing, among other things," says Lennie Nylén, CEO of Original Tryckeri. "Our strategy from the very beginning has been to add a number of additional acquisitions since we entered and invested in the printing industry exactly one year ago," says Johan Wedin, chairman of the Original Group.
