Canon EMEA has named Peter Saak as the new head of its Integrated Printing & Services Group (IPSG), formerly known as Digital Printing & Solutions. With decades of experience in Canon’s B2B operations, Saak has held key leadership roles across Canon Eurasia, Central & Eastern Europe, and most recently led growth in developing regions including Southeast Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In his new role, Saak will drive the convergence of Canon’s advanced printing technologies with services that support connected, efficient print ecosystems for partners and customers.
The transition comes as Hiro Imamura returns to Canon Inc. in Japan after five years leading the group, during which he grew Canon’s market share in workspace and production print segments. “Peter’s leadership and deep customer insight will be critical as we continue to evolve our print and services strategy,” said Sam Yoshida, President & CEO of Canon EMEA. Saak emphasized his focus on channel expansion and delivering innovative, value-driven solutions to meet changing customer demands across EMEA markets.
