PGSF Rebrands as Foundation for Graphic Communication Education to Expand Industry Talent Pipeline

The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation announced its new identity as the Foundation for Graphic Communication Education, reflecting the expanding scope of the industry it serves. While continuing its mission to support education and career development, the organization now focuses on a broader range of disciplines, including packaging, industrial inkjet, engineering, and chemistry, as well as traditional print.

Through its four core focus areas: Students, Educators, Community, and Advocacy, the Foundation continues to invest in workforce development across the graphic communications ecosystem. Programs include scholarships, educational grants, funding for classroom equipment, and support for participation in academic and industry events. The organization also plays a key role in advancing entry-level education through technical schools and high school programs, while supporting initiatives from partners such as the Graphic Communication Education Association.

The rebranding underscores the growing need to attract and develop talent in a rapidly changing industry. By expanding its reach and reinforcing its commitment to education, the Foundation aims to ensure future professionals have the skills and knowledge to support innovation and long-term growth in print and visual communications.
