The aqueous inkjet press enables high-quality, full-colour printing directly onto corrugated board with minimal setup time, giving the company greater flexibility to move from concept to production at speed.
The investment responds to increasing demand for shorter runs, pilot programmes, retailer-specific designs, and limited releases, which can be cost-prohibitive with conventional processes. By eliminating printing plates and reducing make-ready time, the X630i allows Planet Group to produce rapid prototypes, efficient short runs, and repeat orders with consistent colour control, all within a compact production footprint.
