PlanProphet announces the Ink Runs Deep initiative, a new effort aimed at supporting the next generation of print professionals while recognizing the culture and people that define the industry. The program will contribute 100 percent of net proceeds from a limited-edition varsity jacket to scholarship programs administered by the Foundation for Graphic Communication Education and the National Print & Sign Owners Association. Both organizations focus on introducing students to careers in printing and visual communications while supporting the training needed to succeed in the field.
The initiative reflects growing concern across the industry about workforce development as technology and production models evolve. PlanProphet positions Ink Runs Deep as a way to connect tradition with the future, highlighting print as a creative and viable career path for younger generations. “The print industry has always been built around people who care deeply about what they do and who take the time to help others learn it,” said Lemay Sanchez, CEO of PlanProphet. “Ink Runs Deep is our way of recognizing that community while contributing to programs that help students discover the opportunities this industry offers.”
To support the initiative, PlanProphet partnered with Golden Bear Sportswear to create a limited-edition varsity jacket manufactured in the United States. Priced at $850, the jacket is intended as a symbolic item representing the professionals who drive the industry forward, from production teams to sales and operations. By linking product sales directly to scholarship funding, the program aims to channel industry pride into tangible support for education and long-term talent development in printing. .
