The 485-year-old German paper manufacturer Drewsen Spezialpapiere acquired the 300-year-old British paper manufacturer Portals Paper for an undisclosed sum. The two companies will continue to operate as independent entities but will be able to deliver a broader range of security papers together. Portals Paper specializes in passport and identity papers, while Drewsen also focuses on specialty papers. You can learn more about Drewsen in the INKISH film (click above).
Both companies are in great financial shape, and the press release uses a headline like "From Strength to Strength," which probably describes that though the current situation is great, the future may be challenging if you don’t act when you can.
