Pressgrannar, a leading Swedish newspaper printer and part of the NTM Media group, has reaffirmed its commitment to the print industry by upgrading its prepress department with ECO3’s Advantage N-PL HS CtP system. Operating out of Linköping and Luleå, Pressgrannar serves 60 customers with a mix of daily and niche publications across Sweden. The new CtP lines automate plate handling, reducing manual labor and boosting output to around 600 plates daily with speeds of up to 180 plates per hour. “The automatic plate loading saves us a lot of back strain,” noted Markus Blohm, Prepress Operator, highlighting the system’s ergonomic advantages. Backed by a 25-year relationship with ECO3, the company also leverages Arkitex workflow and 24/7 support, ensuring production stability and responsiveness. “We want to be a printing company that lasts,” said Jonny Björk, Head of Prepress, underscoring the team's long-term vision for growth through print. The investment enables Pressgrannar to better serve an expanding client base and reaffirms its belief in print as a resilient and valuable medium.
