PRINTING United Alliance Celebrates Advocacy Wins, Membership Growth, and Industry Impact in 2025

PRINTING United Alliance marked 2025 with major wins across legislative advocacy and membership engagement, reinforcing its mission to support a more competitive and innovative printing industry. On the federal level, the Alliance secured critical tax and labor reforms, such as preserving the 20% small business deduction, protecting advertising expense deductions, and expanding 529 education savings accounts for workforce training. At the state level, it successfully opposed harmful regulations—including proposed bans on carbon black in inks and protected tax exemptions for printed materials. These victories, enabled by the strength of its member base, delivered billions in savings and directly supported growth, efficiency, and opportunity across the print ecosystem.

Membership surged in 2025, with thousands joining the Alliance and leveraging expanded technical support, training, and advocacy resources. Highlights included the global adoption of the iLEARNING+ platform, increased G7+ certification reach, and high-impact events like the PRINTING United Expo, Women in Print initiatives, and the first Legislative Fly-In. With more than 1,600 member support calls handled and growing representation in Congress through the Congressional Printing Caucus, the Alliance solidified its role as the unified voice of the North American print industry. Looking ahead, it plans to further scale its educational programs, certification offerings, and government outreach in 2026 to empower printers of all sizes.
