Reflex Labelplus Installs Xaar Versatex to Elevate Premium Label Embellishment

Xaar and Jet Technologies have expanded their longstanding partnership with the installation of a Versatex Printbar at Reflex Labels’ new greenfield facility in Adelaide, branded as Reflex Labelplus Australia. Designed to serve the high-end wine and spirits label market, the site now leverages the Versatex Printbar on a Jet IQ M370 platform to deliver premium embellishments—including textured varnishes, high-build effects, and high-opacity whites—through a single-pass digital process. “We’re proud to support Reflex with cutting-edge solutions like Versatex,” said Shane Sullivan, National Manager at Jet Technologies, emphasizing the collaboration's regional impact.

The technology's ability to handle high-viscosity fluids across diverse substrates makes it especially suited to premium packaging sectors, with future expansion possible into cosmetics and nutraceuticals. Reflex’s Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Jim Chatzopoulos, noted the investment is part of the group’s global growth strategy, highlighting the combined precision and speed of the Jet IQ and Versatex setup. Xaar COO Graham Tweedale added, “Versatex is redefining what’s possible in digital label embellishment,” as Jet Technologies continues to bring transformative innovations to the Australian and New Zealand print markets.
