Repacorp, one of the largest independent label converters in the U.S., has reinforced its digital strategy with a second BOBST DIGITAL MASTER 510 press—just four months after installing the first. The move underscores the converter’s focus on simplifying complex, high-SKU label production while dramatically reducing waste, downtime, and turnaround times. In a production example, a one-million-label job that once took over 24 hours on flexo now runs in just 10 hours with the BOBST.
“We’ll put a job on press that’s half a million labels with 13 different SKUs—and with BOBST, there are no plate changes, no downtime, and significantly less waste,” said Aaron Dumke, Vice President of Packaging at Repacorp. The fully integrated press, capable of printing and converting in a single pass, eliminates the friction of multi-vendor systems, offering speed, reliability, and scalable throughput.
