Ricoh will implement major organizational changes across its business units beginning April 1, 2026, to streamline operations and strengthen its strategic focus. The Ricoh Digital Services Business Unit and the Ricoh Futures Business Unit will both be discontinued as standalone entities, with their functions redistributed across other business units and corporate departments in line with operational responsibilities.
As part of the restructuring, Ricoh will establish several new organizational groups, including the Ricoh Software Business Unit, the Integration Marketing Division, and the Corporate Planning Division. Additional structural adjustments include renaming the Supply Chain Functions Management Division to the SCM Division, the Digital Strategy Division to the Digital Transformation Division, and the Technology Management Division to simply the Technology Division. The changes also involve revised titles and responsibilities for eleven senior corporate officers.
The announcement comes shortly after Ricoh was positioned as a Leader for the third time in the IDC MarketScape Worldwide High-Speed Inkjet Vendor Assessment. According to IDC, Ricoh combines global reach with strong service capabilities and continued innovation in printhead accuracy, automation, and sustainability. Koji Miyao, President of Ricoh Graphic Communications, said the recognition reflects Ricoh’s commitment to helping customers evolve their print operations and expand into new opportunities in the changing production print landscape.
