Scodix and Heidelberg Italy Expand Strategic Partnership to Boost Digital Embellishment in Luxury Print and Packaging

Scodix, a leader in digital print embellishment, has deepened its partnership with Heidelberg by appointing Heidelberg Italy as the official distributor for its Ultra Series presses. This move allows Italian printers to access cutting-edge embellishment solutions under one roof, from prepress to high-end finishing. The flagship presses featured in the collaboration include the Scodix Ultra 6500 SHD, designed for B1 formats with Smart High Definition (SHD) technology, and the Scodix Ultra 2500 SHD, optimized for B2 formats with flexibility and high detail output.

The partnership also promotes Scodix Luxe, a new application for digitally embellishing premium materials like leather, silk, and linen using Multi-Layer Enhancement (MLE) technology. Heidelberg Italy and Scodix will mark this milestone with a VIP Open House on March 3, 2026, at the Scodix Experience Center in Düsseldorf, featuring live demonstrations. “We now have the full structure in place to support our customers throughout their Scodix journey,” said Rinaldo Mattera, Digital Business Manager at Heidelberg Italia.
