SCREEN Appoints Print Solutions as Bulgarian Dealer to Accelerate Digital Print Adoption

SCREEN Europe named Print Solutions Ltd. as its new official dealer in Bulgaria, strengthening SCREEN’s presence in Eastern Europe and extending its digital inkjet and Computer-to-Plate technologies to a market undergoing rapid change. The appointment gives Bulgarian print businesses direct access to SCREEN’s commercial, label, packaging, and prepress solutions, supported by a local team with growing technical depth.

Founded in 2013 and family-owned, Print Solutions entered the market as a consumables supplier before expanding into technical services in 2017. Since then, the company has built an in-house engineering team to support printing and finishing equipment nationwide. “We’re excited to be working directly with SCREEN,” said Deyan Grudev, Commercial Director at Print Solutions. “We were already impressed by SCREEN’s technology, and now we can support an entire digital printing workflow from print through finishing.”

Under the agreement, Print Solutions will represent SCREEN’s Truepress JET series for commercial and book printing, the Truepress LABEL line for labels, the Truepress PAC series for flexible packaging, and SCREEN’s established CTP systems. Grudev noted that these platforms align well with Bulgaria’s evolving production mix. As consolidation continues, skilled offset labor is becoming scarcer and more expensive, while export-driven work increasingly requires shorter runs, faster changeovers, and consistent quality—conditions where digital inkjet complements existing offset capacity.

Despite strong potential, digital adoption in Bulgaria has been uneven, in part due to concerns around service and support. The local print community is closely connected, and experiences with reliability and aftersales service can quickly influence buying decisions. Print Solutions identified this as an opportunity to introduce SCREEN’s globally recognized engineering and long-term stability, backed by a committed local service structure.

“SCREEN’s reputation for reliability and print quality is well established,” Grudev said. “With the right support in place, these systems are an excellent fit for Bulgarian printers.” From early discussions, both companies cited shared values in honest guidance and customer-first decision-making as the foundation of the partnership.

Looking ahead, Print Solutions plans to invest in training and application expertise to support installation, maintenance, and profitability optimization across SCREEN’s portfolio. With export growth continuing across commercial, pharmaceutical, label, and packaging segments, the partners say the Bulgarian market is poised for sustained digital innovation and long-term growth driven by dependable technology and strong local support.
