Sibress will unveil a significant innovation in quality control technology for the flexographic sector at Labelexpo Europe 2025. The company will introduce a new version of its FlexoControl 3D Plus, designed explicitly for photopolymer sleeves, complementing its full range of measuring and analysis systems for packaging and label printing. The enhanced device provides printers with unmatched imaging capability by simultaneously capturing surface details and deeper halftone dot structures, displayed side by side for comprehensive evaluation.

The updated system incorporates two high-precision cameras that capture the surface and slopes of printing elements, with the side camera delivering sharp, detailed images of the entire print area. Tailored for sleeves up to 1,800 mm in length and diameters between 140 mm and 270 mm, the device features lightweight construction, height-adjustable support rails, and an optical positioning aid for ease of use. It also features an LED transmitted light unit with optional sleeve support elements, making it a versatile and highly mobile solution for pressrooms.

Adding further versatility, the FlexoControl 3D Plus now integrates more powerful incident light illumination. This feature not only enhances accuracy in flexo plate measurement but also extends the system’s capabilities to include offset printing plates and certain laser-engraved DLE sleeves.
