Sitma has launched PackHub, a compact automated bagging system aimed at improving efficiency in e-commerce and fulfillment environments. The system automates key stages of the bagging process, including bag feeding, orientation, and labeling, helping operators complete packing tasks faster while maintaining a simple workflow. Designed as a practical automation step, PackHub can reduce packaging time by up to 50% per order, increasing productivity without requiring major changes to existing packing lines.
At the core of the system is a high-capacity hopper holding up to 500 bags, allowing continuous production with minimal operator intervention. Bags are separated through a precision friction feeder and automatically rotated for ergonomic product insertion, while a vacuum cup holding station stabilizes the bag during packing. An integrated labeling unit prints and applies labels directly to the package. With its compact footprint and wheeled frame for easy repositioning, PackHub is designed for flexible integration into facilities with limited space. Sitma will showcase the system at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart (24–26 March) and MODEX 2026 in Atlanta (13–16 April).
