Smithers indicates that the global value of flexographic printing in 2024 was $230.5 billion. They forecast an increase at a 3.0% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) through to 2029. They note that the global output on flexo presses was 8.6 trillion A4 sheets in 2024 and expect that to increase 10.0 trillion in 2029.
Smithers identifies the three largest regions for flexo printing as Asia, North America and Western Europe, which account for 81.0% of global volume and 83.1% of the value in 2024. North America and Western Europe are considered mature regions for flexo print, and will grow moderately – 2.3% CAGR and 1.7% CAGR, respectively – while Asia is expected to grow at a 5.8% CAGR .
