SpencerMetrics Inc., a leading provider of data-driven productivity solutions for manufacturing operations, announced new executive appointments and a corporate name change. Vishal Sahay has been appointed President, while Yutak Kwok and Catherine Fiasconaro have been named Vice President – Technology and Vice President – Operations, respectively. Founder David Spencer will now serve as CEO and Chairman, transferring day-to-day operational responsibilities to the new leadership team.
A longtime veteran of the company, Sahay holds degrees from Bangalore University and the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and has played a key role in guiding the company’s evolution from consulting to technology innovation. Kwok, who earned his Bachelor’s in Imaging Technology and Master’s in Information Science from RIT, brings technical expertise to his new role overseeing product development. Fiasconaro, the company’s longest-serving employee, holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Stony Brook University and also leads the firm’s Test Laboratory.
Founded in 1989 as Spencer & Associates Publishing, Ltd., the company began as a consulting practice in digital color printing before expanding into testing and productivity analytics under the SpencerLab brand. Its automation of real-world productivity testing in 2014 marked the start of its transformation into SpencerMetrics Inc., now a recognized leader in smart manufacturing and print production analytics.
“This change in the name of our corporation and the recognition of management responsibilities for our team is another step forward,” said David Spencer. “Our success is built on the combined knowledge, creativity, and dedication of our key team members. Vishal, Catherine, and Yutak have each been instrumental to our growth, and we are thrilled to formally acknowledge their contributions.”
Vice President of Operations Catherine Fiasconaro added, “Being part of this company’s journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I am honored to take on these new responsibilities. This reflects SpencerMetrics’ continued commitment to its customers and its people, and we look forward to the next phase of our growth.”
The leadership transition positions SpencerMetrics for continued innovation, operational excellence, and customer-focused expansion as it builds on decades of expertise in data analytics and automation for the global manufacturing and printing industries.
