Sutherland Packaging has expanded its digital capabilities with the HP PageWide C550 Press to accelerate production in high-graphic corrugated packaging and retail displays. “HP’s C550 press opened the door to bigger jobs, faster turns, and the kind of quality that allows us to compete head-to-head with litho while staying nimble,” said Jake Sutherland, Chief Executive Officer at Sutherland Packaging. Installed in March 2023, the press delivers faster turnaround times, offset-quality graphics, and improved sustainability with water-based inks. Integration with HP PrintOS enables real-time performance monitoring and workflow optimization, giving the company agility and transparency. The move positions Sutherland for continued growth across North America, while meeting customer demands for speed, quality, and environmental responsibility.
