Tecnau Showcases Stack 1010 Solution at the HEIDELBERG 175th Anniversary

Innovation meets legacy as Tecnau joins Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) in celebrating 175 years in the printing industry. From June 2nd to 5th at the Print Media Center of HEIDELBERG in Wiesloch-Walldorf (Germany), Tecnau will demonstrate its sheet-fed Stack 1010 solution operating near-line to the industrial inkjet system Jetfire® 50 from HEIDELBERG launched at drupa 2024. As part of the Digital Industrial and Commercial Print segment showcase, Tecnau’s Stack 1010 will be converting inkjet output into neatly finished stacks of postcards, posters, and other full-bleed printed applications in a variety of impositions such as 1-up, 2-up, and 3-up. This solution eliminates the need for manual guillotine cutters and labor-intensive offline processes.

Designed for efficiency and modularity, the Stack 1010 reduces manual touchpoints while offering smart expandability. To scale with changing production requirements, the system supports various configurations with optional modules for dynamic perforating, scoring, creasing and punching. The BookReady system being shown is an inline solution to convert multi-up book impositions into smaller, stacked finished pages with fully automated imposition changes requiring no operator intervention. Ideal for short-run and book-on-demand workflows, BookReady provides high flexibility specifically for personalized book production.

The Stack 1010, BookReady, and all related Tecnau modules are fully compatible with the Jetfire® 50 press, whether configured near-line or inline, providing high-speed automation, format versatility, and superior finishing integration for a wide range of applications.
