Tecnau Unveils the Cutter c7 for High-Quality Finishing of Graphic Art Applications

Tecnau has released its new guillotine Cutter c7, built on the long-established TC 7000 TS. The Cutter c7 is designed to process a wider range of paper types and weights at higher speeds. It empowers print providers to expand their offerings and operate more efficiently.

The new cutter can handle heavier media, supporting  paper weights up to 400gsm and opening the door to high-value applications such as premium postcards, brochures, photo books, and greeting cards. It's also capable of processing lightweight stock as low as 60gsm, offering unprecedented flexibility in one device. Unlike rotary systems, the Cutter c7 can start and stop instantly, allowing it to synchronize perfectly with downstream processes. This enables seamless integration into a wide range of finishing lines, such as saddle stitchers, folders or book sewing machines from leading industry providers, and reduces waste and enhances finishing flexibility. It accommodates web widths up to 23 inches, making it fully compatible with printed output from today's leading inkjet presses.

Tecnau will showcase the new Cutter c7 in-line with a Horizon binding solution — highlighting seamless integration and real-world production capabilities — at Horizon's booth during CHINA PRINT 2025, the most important event for paper finishing in Asia. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this revolutionary new solution up close.
