Thomson Reuters Rebrands Book Printing Business as Core Print Solutions

Thomson Reuters introduced Core Print Solutions as the new name and brand identity for its book printing and fulfillment business, reinforcing more than 150 years of print expertise while highlighting ongoing investments in innovation and technology. The company continues to deliver digital and offset printing, binding, warehousing, and distribution at scale from its 1.3-million-square-foot facility in Eagan, Minnesota. The rebrand reflects its strategic growth and commitment to supporting publishers with speed, accuracy, and market-leading production capacity.

Story: Thomson Reuters has unveiled Core Print Solutions as the new brand identity for its long-standing book printing and fulfillment operations within the Global Print Segment. The updated name reflects both the legacy and future direction of the business, which continues to offer digital and offset book printing, binding, inventory management, and distribution services. With a heritage spanning more than a century, the company emphasised that the rebrand strengthens its commitment to customer partnership and operational excellence.

“Core Print Solutions is more than a name; it's a renewed promise to our customers,” said Jennifer Prescott, President of the Global Print segment. She noted that the business brings together its deep print expertise with modern end-to-end production technologies to support publishers seeking speed, accuracy, and scalability. The rebrand includes a refreshed digital presence, a redesigned website, updated advertising, and modernised marketing, all aimed at making its capabilities more accessible to customers and partners.

The business continues to invest heavily in print technology. Named Printing Impressions Innovator of the Year in 2024, Core Print Solutions operates from a 1.3-million-square-foot printing and fulfillment hub in Eagan, Minnesota, which delivers more than seventeen billion pages annually. Its production portfolio includes six web offset presses, four web digital inkjet presses, and automated binding lines supporting monochrome, two-color, and full-color book manufacturing. The company holds a market-leading position in short-run book production, backed by investments in zero make-ready offset systems and high-speed wide-web inkjet.

Todd Matuska, Vice President of Commercial Print, said the rebrand reflects the company’s ongoing evolution and customer-centric focus. “Core Print Solutions is built on service, and everything we do is designed around our customers’ needs, from order to delivery,” he said. He added that the business is positioned to support publishers across varied run lengths, formats, and timelines as the industry continues to adapt to shifting market demands.
