COMING IN 2025: printing from the controversial TikTok social-media video platform. On the heels of a successful eBook experiment, TikTok's publishing imprint, 8th Note Press, is teaming up with independent American publisher Zando to print a line of books to be sold in retail stores. ByteDance, the Chinese tech giant that owns TikTok, will focus on viral authors and books covering popular genres such as romance, "romantasy" and young adult fiction. Readers can expect between 10 and 15 books to be published annually. #BookTok
