Learn about Anna Rügerin, the first recognized female printer, Charlotte Guillard was one of the first female printers in 16th-century Paris,  Martina Plantin, the driving force behind Plantin Press in Antwerp turning it into Europe’s most influential printing house at the time, and Catharina Ahlgren, a printer in early modern Sweden and one of Sweden’s first female journalists.
