Reuters reported that the United States Postal Service (USPS) Board confirmed that Monday would be his last day while also installing Deputy Postmaster General Dough Tulino to take over until a permanent replacement is selected by the board.
DeJoy was appointed during Trump's first term. He notified the board of governors last week that it was time to find a suitable successor as the USPS tries to recover from hundreds of billions of dollars in predicted losses within the next decade.
