Xerox Announces Leadership Transition as John Bruno Exits

Xerox Holdings Corporation announced that President and Chief Operating Officer John Bruno will step down from his operating role on August 31 to pursue a CEO opportunity outside the company. Bruno, who has served as President and COO since 2022 and joined the Xerox Board in 2024, will remain on the Board of Directors and chair the newly formed Integration Committee, overseeing the combination of Xerox and Lexmark.

Louie Pastor, currently Chief Administrative Officer and Global Head of Operations, will assume the role of President and COO on September 1. Bruno reflected on his tenure, saying, “Leading Reinvention has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career, and I’m deeply proud of all we’ve accomplished. As I transition out of day-to-day operations, I have complete confidence in Louie’s leadership and remain fully committed to supporting Xerox through this next phase of growth and transformation.”

Xerox CEO Steve Bandrowczak thanked Bruno for his pivotal role in reshaping the company’s operating model, driving strategic acquisitions including ITsavvy and Lexmark, and steering the Board reconstitution. In conjunction with the leadership change, Xerox has appointed Jacques-Edouard Gueden as Chief Revenue Officer, also effective September 1. A 30-year veteran of Xerox, Gueden will lead the company’s direct and indirect print go-to-market units. Bandrowczak commented, “Jacques-Edouard’s deep market knowledge and proven leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our position across channels and driving long-term growth.”
