Hier soir, environ 60 des quelque 100 invités sont arrivés à Radebeul. Voir la production est toujours impressionnant, mais cette fois, une partie a été transformée en un lieu fantastique avec de la nourriture, des boissons, de la musique et, bien sûr, du networking.

À présent, jeudi matin, environ 100 participants ont pris la direction de Radebeul pour découvrir et en apprendre davantage sur la Rapida 76. Souvent, les grands OEMs se concentrent sur leurs machines les plus grandes et rapides, mais cette fois, Koenig & Bauer présente la machine demi-format B2.

La Rapida 76 est une presse rapide B2 avec une grande flexibilité : 18 000 feuilles par heure, et de multiples configurations pour la production commerciale, d'étiquettes et d'emballages. Pour les emballages, la Rapida 76 peut imprimer sur un carton jusqu'à 1 mm d'épaisseur sans ralentir. La Rapida 76 présentée aujourd'hui est une 7 couleurs avec une solution logistique.

Comme toujours, les démonstrations sont d'une précision chirurgicale, bien planifiées et, bien sûr, montrent diverses applications dans un environnement contrôlé.

Mardi 18 novembre, nous publierons un film de Rutgers aux Pays-Bas qui utilise la Rapida 76. Comme j'ai eu l'occasion de lui parler hier, je suis toujours très satisfait de l'investissement.

After the presentations of the Rapida 76, three customers, Matthias Hermann from Schmidt & Buchta GmbH, Kurt Schergen from Druckhaus Wittich, and finally Oscar Pebermans from the Dutch packaging printer, Rutger. Very pleased customers, not only with the technology, but also with the service, and the collaboration in general. Thomas Göcke from Koenig & Bauer was an excellent moderator, and learning, check, loads of fun - check as well :-)

Besides the customers, Koenig & Bauer also invited a few speakers - on the photo above is Dr. Wolfgang Jeschke. He spoke about the three major pain points in the printing industry: revenue, gross margins, and costs. Interesting perspectives, but personally I didn't agree with him on most - but that's, of course, the reason for the book I am writing - but great to have different views.

Thomas Grübner from Elbe Leasing also gave a presentation. Though I didn't hear it, I would be surprised if it wasn't about financing and why Elbe Leasing is a serious finance partner in the German market.

The Rapida 76 event ended around 15.00, and the guests from Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, and many more returned to the printing companies across Europe. Based on the numerous conversations and many questions, maybe soon another Rapida 76 will find a new home. Thanks for a great day!
