Global Graphics Software, the OEM business unit of Hybrid Software, has announced that its Mako Core SDK has received Ghent Workgroup (GWG) accreditation for both its Jaws and new Apex renderers. Apex is the first fully GPU-native Page Description Language renderer, enabling ultra-fast, high-quality PDF rendering in browsers or on screen by offloading the entire workload to the GPU. This certification, based on the Ghent PDF Output Suite 5.0, confirms both renderers’ compliance with PDF/X-4 standards, ensuring reliable color management, transparency, and output accuracy. Mako Core gives developers full access to document elements for building robust print and prepress workflows across Windows, macOS, and Linux. With this accreditation, users can trust Mako for consistent, standards-compliant performance in high-demand environments.
