I Want to Buy the UK a Coke and Keep It Company!

As reported by Richard Stuart-turner in PrintWeek and a press release from Coca-Cola, it is bringing back its legendary Share a Coke campaign for a fresh brand experience targeting a new generation with the magic of personalized connection. The original campaign was the first of its kind and sparked a global phenomenon by swapping iconic Coca-Cola logos for personalized names. It returns with a greater focus on shareability and customization, reflecting Gen Z's desire for authentic experiences. In a world dominated by digital interactions, Share a Coke offers a tangible way to celebrate friendships and cross-cultural connections. The brand’s unique customization platform offers even more names to choose from, and you can add your personal touch. If you can’t find your name in a store, scan the QR code (on the can), which will take you to the Share a Coke digital hub.

Share a Coke will be rolling out in phases, starting with a global teaser campaign in March 2025 with Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Coca-Cola Original Taste packs available on shelves in the UK from May 1st. The campaign was developed by WPP Open X, led by VML, and supported by Ogilvy PR, EssenceMediacom, and Subversive.
