BOBST has announced a global series of open houses and technical conferences set to run in parallel with K 2025, the world’s leading plastics and rubber trade fair, taking place October 8–15 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Designed to showcase the company’s latest advances in flexible packaging, printing, and converting, the events will be held at multiple BOBST facilities across Europe. These gatherings aim to provide customers with a hands-on, application-driven look at the technologies shaping the future of sustainable and connected packaging production.
At its Competence Centers in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and France, BOBST will present live demonstrations of gravure, flexo, CI flexo, coating, vacuum metallizing, and lamination processes. Visitors will experience end-to-end production workflows that highlight BOBST’s vision for fully digitalized, automated, and sustainable packaging operations. In particular, attendees can explore solutions that support circular packaging models, including recyclable mono-materials, solvent-free laminations, and barrier technologies, all of which are aligned with evolving brand and regulatory expectations for eco-conscious production.
Complementing the open house events, BOBST will also host a series of expert-led conferences in Düsseldorf during K 2025. These sessions will focus on sustainability, innovation, and digital transformation within the packaging industry. By aligning technical demonstrations with strategic discussions, BOBST aims to provide an integrated view of how converters and brand owners can remain competitive in a rapidly evolving global packaging landscape.
