EMT International Chameleon RFX roll-to-roll winders now standard at 23” web

EMT International, a leading supplier of finishing equipment to the digital print, label, and packaging industries announces its Chameleon RFX roll-to-roll rewinders and unwinders web widths are now designed standard at 23” (584mm).

Previously standard at 22” (558mm), the increase was made in response to customer requests, as many integrated inkjet presses are configured for 23” web. The Chameleon RFX roll-to-roll rewinders and unwinders can also be customized with larger 30″ (762mm) and 42″ (1066mm) web widths.

Additionally, upgrades for higher speeds up to 1000 fpm can be made on EMT Chameleon RFX rewinders and unwinders in-field, minimizing production downtime. All EMT winders are shipped with a two-year parts warranty, providing customers a significant reduction in long-term operating costs.

EMT offers optional equipment data connectivity solutions that can integrate with a customer’s existing data collection system or EMT’s trusted third-party solutions to achieve real-time tracking of operational performance and defect production. This comprehensive, integrated approach helps customers gain real-time actionable insights, streamline their processes, and drive continuous improvement.

EMT International continually innovates new solutions through close collaboration with our customers and partners”, said Jordan Geurts, VP of Technology & Solutions at EMT International. “We listened to their needs to accommodate an increased 23” web width and responded by making it standard.

Delivering premium roll quality from our Chameleon RFX rewinders is also a high priority for EMT. We can accommodate heavy and coated substrates and are open to customizing the machines to meet changing demands in transactional, publishing, and direct mail applications. Customers also appreciate the robustness of our winders and lower total cost of ownership.”

The Chameleon RFX unwinder was featured in a digital finishing line that produced coil bound booklets on EMT International’s stand at drupa. It will also be featured on EMT International’s stand C2731 at PRINTING United Expo September 10-12 in Las Vegas, NV.
