We have never asked our viewers/readers for support, but we haven't been able to get support from the organisations, federations, foundations, and vendors. These days New Delhi in India has a smog level that is more than 30% higher than ever before. Never before has the so-called plastic-soup been as big as it is now. Never before has animals and humans suffered more from the climate changes, and never before are most people in despair not knowing what to do.

The Printing Industry claims to be a clean industry, and often refer to re-forestation programs, how little the paper- and printing industry influence the environment, and even claim to be cleaner and better than other technologies. I believe TwoSides. I believe the federations, however, Houston we've a problem. Our customers don't believe this, and to convince them, we believe that we need to investigate and document not only our impact but also what solutions to be found around the corner. All of us know that Green Washing is an issue that not only fools the customers who believe in these empty promises but the entire printing industry.

We have asked various foundations, companies, organisations, and federations for funding for this important project - but no one wants to support our mission.

The cost of doing a project like this is in the range of $50,000. Since that wasn't possible to raise, we have now come up with a new idea. This story is too important not to be told, so we ask our viewers and readers to support this project, but we also ask all print-media globally to join forces in telling this story. We will co-ordinate the story, we will engage with each and everyone who wants to be part of this project. We want print-media in South Korea to fact-check if Hankuk Paper in South Korea actually produces paper without a CO2 footprint. We want American print-media to research if Greenprinter is as green as they claim. We want European print-media to investigate if PaperWise is as green as stated, and we want to find out if the environmental programs like FSC, PEFC, and others do anything good. We hope and expect that all can be proved positive, but we need to talk to people who understand how important this is. We also want to investigate the impact of outsourcing. When print jobs move to, i.e. China, does that mean a deeper CO2 footprint?

This film should be a landmark film and based on research and collaboration with media from all over the world. We will need money for this project, so take a look in the mirror, then your wallet, your commitment to yourself, your family, your kids, your company, and your own future.

Make storytelling matter for real!
