Agfa concluded its investigation into the cybersecurity incident reported in November, when a ransomware group claimed to have obtained data from the company’s systems. Following a detailed review by Agfa’s internal Cybersecurity Teams in collaboration with external specialists, the company confirmed that the attackers accessed only older, non-sensitive information no longer connected to Agfa’s current business.
The company emphasized that all operational systems remained fully functional throughout the incident and that no personal data or company-critical information was compromised. As a result, Agfa considers the matter resolved.
“Protecting information and ensuring the security of all stakeholders are top priorities for Agfa,” the company stated. “We apply rigorous measures to safeguard our systems and data against any form of cyber threat.”
With the investigation now complete, Agfa continues to reinforce its cybersecurity posture and maintain robust protections across its global operations.
