BOBST has launched a new Progressive Tooling & Folding Carton Training Program aimed at strengthening technical expertise and operational consistency in folding carton production. The program is structured as a three-session development path designed to help participants build foundational knowledge and understand the critical role of tooling and process standards in high-performing packaging operations. The first two sessions, labeled 101 and 102, are classroom-based programs covering flatbed die-cutting theory, tooling principles, workflow processes, and performance standards.
Each of these sessions also includes a visit to a customer production site, allowing participants to observe tooling setups and production processes in a live manufacturing environment. The final session, the Master Class, focuses on deeper hands-on learning and advanced troubleshooting, helping participants connect tooling decisions with measurable operational performance. The program is designed primarily for entry-level and early-career professionals—including operators, technicians, process engineers, supervisors, and tooling designers—seeking to build a strong technical foundation in folding carton production.
