CEMAB, one of Europe’s largest wooden display manufacturers, has elevated its production capabilities with the installation of a Mimaki JFX600-2513 industrial UV LED flatbed printer. Based in Italy’s Puglia region, the company is leveraging this cutting-edge technology to eliminate the need for vinyls and adhesives by printing vibrant graphics directly onto wood surfaces. “The Mimaki JFX600-2513 printer has allowed us to guarantee both exceptional speed and a level of print quality on wood that was previously unimaginable,” said Managing Director Alessandro Leccese.
With output speeds reaching up to 200m²/hour and the ability to print on irregular substrates, the new workflow enables CEMAB to produce more than 500 custom displays daily. This advancement is part of a long-term partnership with Bompan, Mimaki’s exclusive Italian distributor, who supported the transition through installation, training, and ongoing service. Sustainability also plays a central role—by reducing material waste and using eco-friendly UV inks, the company is aligning high-quality craftsmanship with environmental responsibility. “With the JFX600, we reduce waste while delivering a superior product,” added Leccese.
