DOXNET e.V., the respected European association for document professionals, has announced a leadership transition with the election of Daniel Erni as its new board chair. Erni, a well-known figure in the print and document industry, will succeed Stefan Hunkeler, who has served in the role for an impressive 24 years. Hunkeler’s tenure helped guide the association through decades of industry transformation, including major advancements in digital document production, print automation, and communication workflows.
Daniel Erni brings deep experience and a strong network within the print and communications sector, positioning him to lead DOXNET into its next phase of growth. His election comes at a pivotal time as the industry continues to adapt to digitalization, sustainability pressures, and evolving customer demands. DOXNET remains a hub for knowledge sharing, innovation, and networking, and Erni’s leadership promises to build on the association’s strong foundation while steering it toward fresh opportunities in the years ahead.
The transition will be celebrated at upcoming industry events, including the DOXNET Annual Conference in Baden-Baden and Hunkeler Innovationdays 2027 in Lucerne. Hunkeler expressed heartfelt gratitude to the DOXNET community, stating, “It has been an honor to help shape the future of this incredible industry.” More information is available at doxnet.de.
