The 21st edition of the Druck&Medien Awards took place at Berlin’s Grand Hyatt, where representatives from Germany’s leading printing companies, bookbinderies, and educational institutions gathered to celebrate excellence in print. Hosted by television presenter Lea Wagner, the gala featured an exhibition of the finalists’ submitted works, drawing significant attention from attendees and industry peers.
The evening’s winners included Jung Verpackungen GmbH from Steinmauern, which received the Konica Minolta Award for Digital Printer of the Year. The company was recognized for its outstanding performance in digital printing, combining advanced technology with exceptional quality and efficiency. Other notable honorees included Gutenberg Beuys Feindruckerei GmbH, which received both the OVOL Award for Magazine Printer of the Year and the prestigious Continental Print & Packaging Award for the biggest WOW effect of the year.
Among the many other winners were Druckstudio GmbH of Düsseldorf, earning multiple awards for environmental leadership and print quality; etikett.de of Föhren, named Label Printer of the Year; and DOG Lokay GmbH & Co. KG, Reinheim, recognized as Recycled Paper Printer of the Year. In addition, Wilke Mediengruppe GmbH was named Crossmedia Service Provider of the Year, and Mail Druck + Medien GmbH of Bünde took home the HP Award for Most Innovative Company of the Year. The gala highlighted the creativity, sustainability, and technological innovation that continue to drive the German printing industry forward.
